Hey friends, if you’re movie series lover I am pretty sure that you have heard of “Lipstick Jungle” before. I have finished the first and second session of this series on last few months. Last few weeks my boyfriend have called me excitedly and told me that the book of Lipstick Jungle is only RM 15.00. It such a good price no matter for a book lover or just someone who like this series. For sure he has bought for me after our excited conversation.

Now let us talk about it. The author of Lipstick Jungle is same author of Sex and the City. There have 3 main characters in the story and 3 of them have different characteristics. Definitely 3 of them are Women who live in New Yoke and they are very successful in professional lives. Wendy is President of a production house with 3 children (she only have 2 children in the movie), Nico is Editor in Chief of a publication and Victory is a fashion designer. Three of them are good friends; however they also can’t avoid some arguments that are human being. 

Wendy is a career-wife and she is trying to keep it together with her family. However her husband is a house-husband who don’t have stable career and take care of their child at all of the time. Wendy is facing divorce when she lost her job and her husband is successful involve his interest in his career. How Wendy faces it and solves the problems?

Although Nico is married, however she has extra-marital sex with a young photographer and she is fitting guilty in it. In other hand, her husband also has some special relationship with his student. What was happening after Nico found out her husband has sex with his student?

Victory is a single women and her last collection bombed after Fashion Week. She met someone when her company is facing crisis. However someone you love will be the last one in your life? 

The story description as above is based on the movie series, however there have some different between book and movie series. What are the different? Figure it yourself. Hey, anyway don’t feel disappointed! Let us view the blogs and discussing at here. Ok, the first blogs that I’d been viewed is - http://malaysiafashion.blogspot.com/ This Blog is focusing on Models Runway (lots of people call it as catwalk, how about you?). Frankly, this blog quite fun but the clothes that introduce for readers didn’t seen like suitable for Malaysian because Malaysian won’t wear like these models. It’ll seen weird if you wear it at Malaysia, anyway this only is my point of view.

The second blog which is where I made booking for my clothes. As I mentioned - “I made booking” which mean that this blog is sale clothes. Let see this blog - http://fashionlounge2u.blogspot.com/  Em…I prefer this blog if compare with preview one. If you ask for my comments, I’ll tell you that clothes that introduce at this blog are SIMPLE and NICE. For sure the most important is the clothes that introduce are more suitable for Malaysian, it won’t look over dress if you wearing those clothes for shopping or have a drink with your friends at One Utama but you’ll look awesome.

Anyway all of this are only my point of view. You should view these weblogs and make your own analysis. Drove me a comment let me know what do you think about after viwed those blogs.

Lot of the times we don’t know about our profession. I’m Public Relation graduated student but how much am I know about my own profession? Frankly speaking actually I not much know about it. Beside tell people that PR is mediated person between an organization and public, I’ve no ideas how to explain PR for someone who are not familiar with Mass Communication area. I feel I’m wrong if I say “PR is someone who handles crisis, press conference, event, campaign, and etc” because that’s PR job scopes but not definition of PR. Maybe you can define it based on what you’ve learned at school or what you’d memories for exam, “according to Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) claimed Public relations helps an organization and its publics adapt mutually to each other.” However how many people could be understood? Maybe they can but how about you?

In this advance technology era, do you aware that your profession rule has changed, do you? PR not more PR but PR 2.0, they’ve their own media, rules, and audience. PR bringing the “public” back to them but not much rely journalists as much as few years ago. Facebook, friendster, and personal blogs are now become one of the medium for PR practitioner to deal with their publics and create their brand awareness. People are no more believed in advertising and blogs has replaced the traditional advertising.

Web 2.0 has changed the rules of Marketing and PR, do you discovery it? There are lots of people are refused to accept the changes and keep staying in their origin step, at the end they are in others people’s backward. Keep step forwards and understand your profession, you’ll found out that it’s the time for you to change yourself.
